Davids Reunion

So this was a while ago but I'll put it up anyway. In July, Keith's Great-Grandmother's family had their family reunion about an hour from where we live. His family never missed the Davids reunion when he was growing up so he really wanted to go this year. It was held in Bancroft, ID. Keith's ancestors were sent there a little over a hundred years ago to settle that area. We drove to the log cabin his great-grandmother grew up in. The log cabin his great-great-grandmother grew up in isn't standing anymore but the pile of wood is there and so is the outhouse! It was an awesome experience for me. I've always loved history and to see something like this was crazy. They have the general store there and Keith's grandma talked about how they would ride horses down from her mother's and buy candy. In the store they have pictures of Keith's great-great-grandfather hanging up. Last but not least, they have a whole museum full of his family's pictures (and the other families who settled there with them, but mostly his family). While we were there a "wagon train" came through. Avery was the only kid they let pet the horses. I was so surprised she let the man hold her. She loves horses!
