B...Y...U!!!

It's that time of year again. Each fall, the last three anyway, we have traveled four hours south to Provo, UT to attend a BYU football game. It's one of our family's favorite weekends. Mostly because we meet Keith's brother's family there from Colorado and stay in the same hotel with them. Avery gets to spend most of the weekend playing with her cousins(which she LOVES) and even Cameron was old enough to play. This year was really fun because it was our nephew Bryce's birthday while we were there. We went to celebrate at The Mayan. The food was pretty good but the entertainment was great. They do a show with the actor's diving into a pool from the top of a water fall. Some of the dives were over forty feet I think. They did flips and stuff like that. It was really fun to watch. However, I didn't take any pictures, sorry, maybe next time! Here are a few pictures of the weekend though. We can't wait until next year!

I must confess, I don't actually like football. I will go to a game if the weather is warm, but this year I didn't want to worry about Cameron on the stadium stairs so we stayed in the hotel while Keith and Avery went to the game. This is how Cam fell asleep.


Here we are having some cake. Bryce didn't have any candles so he just pretended to blow them out. You couldn't tell but it was about 11:30pm.


This is all Cameron wanted to do the whole weekend. Just bounce on a couch cushion. Each time he would climb on it and stand up he would give himself a round of applause for conquering the pillow, then do a little dance on top.





On our way home the next day we decided to stop at The Red Iguana in Salt Lake City, which has the BEST Mexican food! As you can see from the pictures, The kids loved it too.


After eating we went to Temple Square and walked around. While in the visitor's center, Avery snuck away from us. We found her sitting on the ledge,q looking at the temple. So precious!

We had a really great weekend with family, procrastinating homework, and it was really fun taking our kids to Temple Square. My favorite was watching Cam try to walk down the ramp in the Visitor's Center. He decided it was too hard and went back to crawling. It was pretty cute.
